NMG series with 1kVDC isolation  /  NMK series with 3kVDC 

The new unregulated DC/DC converters from MURATA PS measure only 19.5mm x 7.5mm x 10.0mm (LxWxH) and come with a standard SIP7 pinout. The 2W modules are encapsulated and offer the ideal solution for power upgrading from the 1W NMR and NMV series, as the packages (pinouts) are identical. The new devices have a rated temperature range of -40°C to +85°C, and the use of highly efficient Schottky diodes gives them significantly better efficiency – ranging from 81% to 89% at full load, depending on the voltage rating of the specific version. The setpoint and regulation characteristics with respect to output voltage load dependence have also been markedly improved, with rated load regulation values lying between 2% and 7% max. (again, depending on the version).
