With its MP446x, MPS has launched a new family of high-frequency DC/DC regulators with exceptional power density. The wide input voltage range of 4.5V to 36V covers even the automotive input environment, while the low quiescent current of 100µA makes the MP446x family attractive for battery powered applications. The switching frequency of up to 4MHz enables small external components. Together with the ultra-compact 3mm x 3mm QFN package, this translates into optimal use of board space.
