NEVO+600 THE ULTIMATE POWER CONCENTRATE!

600W from the surface area of one hand VOX POWER’s modular configurable 4-way power supply units in a new even smaller design! The NEVO+ series from VOX POWER converts a worldwide input range into 600 W of output power and requires an area of just 3” x 5” x 1” meaning that it will almost fit in a breast pocket. In fact the second generation of the NEVO series, which differs from the first generation by the + in the name, can now truly be said to be in use worldwide. The newly improved input stage with a temperature-controlled fan limits the output power only moderately when the mains voltage drops to below 120 VAC to 520 W at 100 VAC. The complete power supply unit weighs just 0.6 kg which means that it provides a power concentration of 100 W/kg. These power supply units were developed on the one hand for applications in an industrial environment to EN 60950 and on the other also for medical applications to EN 60601. The design of the units differs from that of their predecessors by the housing being 3 mm longer. A fan which is now temperature-controlled ensures that the unit runs very quietly. The patented transformer technology enables the output modules to be supplied reliably in a very small area with a high efficiency level, with the output modules each providing an average output rating of 150 W with a peak rating of 225 W. A constellation of up to four output modules can be freely configured and connected. The output voltage is either supplied preset to wide ranges or can be varied at any time to suit requirements using a control signal. A preset current limit can also be changed at any time during operation if necessary. If several modules are connected in parallel the load is divided equally between however many are connected. Each module can be controlled individually and also monitored using a “Power Good” signal. The entire power supply unit can also be switched, monitored in full using an integral signal plug and can also draw a 5 V bias standby supply. The power supply unit is manufactured in the modernized CELETRONIX plant in India, which has been manufacturing EOS power supply units using the name REDROCKET since it was demerged from the Jabil Group.
