The Primax has proven its worth as a Top View LED in power classes of 0.2 W, 0.3 W and 0.5 W. The current luminous intensity extends up to 150 mA which allows up to 24 lm/W. Since it has a similar design to the SPNovaLED it offers good heat dissipation. Its goods light distribution, high light intensity and high light current together with its small housing (3.5 mm x 3.5 mm x 1.2 mm) means that it can be used in a wide range of applications. The Primax unit is the ideal choice for backlighting, signage, outdoor applications in the automotive industry and for decorative lighting. It is a perfect solution in particular for creative, general lighting applications.

As an example we have selected the Primax “NAW-BSG-NP-1” whose colour bin is shown in figure 1.
This brings us nicely to the CIE colour system. The light current on this Primax model is 18 lm to 30.6 lm and has a transmission angle of 120°. Detailed dimensions are shown in the attached diagram (Figure 2). Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.
