SERIES 100 FILTERED CONNECTORS: TOP QUALITY @ LOW COST

SPECTRUM CONTROL has added the new, inexpensive Series 100 chip-on-board connectors to its range of filtered D-Sub connectors.
Series 100 connectors feature a significantly lower-cost design compared to bushing filters, and they come fully integrated within a metal housing. As a result, they offer exceptional value for use in applications where protection against electromagnetic interference is vital. SPECTRUM CONTROL offers 10 different filter curves – with incremental capacitances from 50pF to 47000pF – to accommodate a wide range of signal rates. The connectors are available with 9, 15, 25 or 37 contact positions in a variety of mechanical configurations, and the corresponding test adapters are also offered. To make the Series 100 fully compatible as a “drop in” replacement for unfiltered connectors, all three versions are available with an 8.08mm, 10.4mm or 14.99mm PCB footprint for 90° PCB mounting.
In addition to the new chip-on-board filtered connectors, SPECTRUM CONTROL continues to develop and manufacture a broad range of filtered D-Sub connectors for various communications applications, such as:

  • Filtered high-density adapters for VGA interfaces
  • Filtered adapters for 2,048 M-bit interfaces
  • Filtered connectors for test voltages of up to 1,400VDC
  • Combo D-Sub filter connectors for up to 40A.

A number of custom solutions are offered to augment the standard range.
