SOURIAU’s new UTS series of circular connectors has been expanded to include cable extensions, which means these ergonomic connectors can now be used to implement IP68 and IP69K protected cable-to-cable connections. The exacting design of UTS circular connectors also makes their processing and handling a no-fuss affair. The UTS range includes standard connectors with crimp contacts, molded-on end housings and cable glands, as well as connector versions with screw terminations and individually sealed conductors in all common contact arrangements. The thermoplastic material used for the housing is UV light resistant and furthermore offers 500 hours of salt spray resistance. The UTS connector series is thus especially well suited for outdoor use, e.g., in signaling and lighting applications, building automation and agricultural and construction machinery.
