JETUP: FSC-LCD (field sequential color LCD)
New Displays with FSC LCDs
JETUPs FSC-LCD is a kind of display which allows a dynamic colour change of single segments. It uses a static driving mode and the advantages of common LCDs are still given, e.g. in this case a high contrast rate of 80:1 and a wide viewing cone of >150°. The applications of FSC-LCD refer to medical instruments, public information displays or home appliances. If you cut across limits the backlight colour will change automatically which makes the user aware. Here the weakness of digital displays is minimised as abrupt value changes can be noticed easier.
