The MP1472 is a synchronous step-down converter with a wide 4.75V to 18V operating input range, capable of delivering up to 2A continuous current. The output voltage is adjustable between 0.923V and 15V. For this reason the MP1472 can be used in a wide range of applications. Additionally, this converter offers a soft-start function that prevents inrush current at turn-on. The MP1472 is readily available in the TSOT23 package.
