The new HiLoNC-3GPS is a solderable HSPA module for automotive and M2M applications. Despite its small dimensions of just 28.5mm x 34mm x 2.9mm and the fact that it can operate in a  n extended temperature range of -40°C to +85°C it achieves download rates of up to 14.4Mbps and upload rates of 5.76Mbps thanks to a sophisticated heat distribution process. In addition the module can receive GPS and Glonass which means that it has twice as many satellites available to it for identifying its position which improves both its accuracy and speed.
The entire family of HiLo modules includes solderable and plug-in versions for GSM/GPRS and 3G networks. All of them feature small dimensions, extremely efficient use of energy and a suitability for an extended temperature range from -40°C to +85°C.
