SOURIAU’s UTS circular connectors with an integrated grommet feature a space-saving and reliable design. The integrated grommet replaces the typical backshell with a screw-type cable gland to enable quick and reliable termination of single insulated conductors. Only the contact cavities that are actually used need to be opened when connecting cables, which means unused cavities are automatically sealed during assembly. Grommet-equipped UTS connectors are offered in four standard versions with 4, 7, 8 or 12 contact positions. When mated, their protective seal conforms to IP68. Thanks to a salt spray resistance of 500h, as well as excellent UV, vibration and shock resistance, UTS connectors are ideally suited for outdoor applications – for example, in commercial vehicles, agricultural and forestry machinery, and construction equipment.
