LCM Series - Bulk Power - cost optimized!

With the LCM family from EMERSON Network Power, the entire power range from 300 to 1,500 Watt is covered. The front-end power supply is ideally suited for industrial applications as well as medical technology.

The latest member of the family, the LCM1500, has only recently come onto the market, and offers a typical degree of efficiency of > 89%, with constant performance over the entire input voltage range, without derating at low supply and leakage current of less than 0.3mA.  The extended frequency range of up to 440 Hz in particular makes the cost-efficient power supply an excellent choice for applications in the aeronautic sector too. Controlled inrush current below 25A helps protect the supply rails, even under extremely hard outside conditions, with a permissible ambient temperature from -40°C to +70°C, and as an option added protection for the electronics by way of a protective coating.

As well as this, the power unit also provides a standby voltage of 5VDC at 2A for the “housekeeping"; in other words, any control electronics. The regulation of the output voltage lies within a very narrow hysteresis of only +/-2% (load and line), but can be electronically adjusted within a window of +/-10%. Likewise state-of-the-art is the integrated I2C interface and the temperature-controlled smart fans. The LCM1500 is available with output voltages from 12 to 48 VDC, optionally with screw terminals at the output. Industrial and medical technology approvals and a CCC (China) approval for altitudes of up to 3,000/5,000 meters mean that the new LCM 1500 from EMERSON Network Power can be put to extremely versatile use, all throughout the world.
