FCI MEZZANINE CONNECTORS PROVIDE MULTIPLE STACK HEIGHT OPTIONS FOR HIGH-SPEED, FINE PITCH APPLICATIONS

FCI, a leading developer of connectors and interconnect systems, has expanded its MezzSelect family of versatile mezzanine connectors with a scalable, high-performance, fine pitch, parallel board-to-board connector system. Designated the BergStak® mezzanine connector system, the double-row 0.8mm connectors provide an extra-ordinary range of twelve PCB stack heights in nine connector sizes available in up to 200 positions. BergStak connectors are ideal for communications, computer, industrial, medical and test equipment applications.

BergStak connectors are suitable for a wide range of products, with 0.8mm double-row contact pitch to minimize board space and is offered in an extensive range of sizes and stack heights from 40 to 200 position sizes in 20 position increments; and 5mm to 16mm stack heights in 1mm increments. A low-profile connector system such as BergStak, delivers high-speed performance of up 10 Gb/s along with reliable signal integrity performance.

With its unique blade-on-beam design, the BergStak system offers optimized connection integrity with early receptacle contacts points, precision-tapered contacts for mating stress control and polarization capabilities to ensure precise contact positioning for accurate mating alignment and reliability.
