Cross Point Switching
Cross Point Switching (CPS) are devices that accept a single/multiple input signal and provide this same signal to single/multiple outputs.
These devices are important because they allow a signal to be distributed to multiple destinations without ground loops or signal degradation. MACOM offers the industry's largest portfolio of crosspoint switch devices with channel counts ranging from 2x2 all the way up to 288x288 and data rates from 3.2 Gbps to 12.8 Gbps and above.
Macom devices are equipped with signal conditioning technology that enables system designers to use lower cost board materials and components while increasing their system margin. "Blocking" und "non-blocking" parts are available also reconfigure parts. CPS with integrated "clock and data recovery" (CDR) are also at the portfolio.
