Sufficient Brightness and High Contrast in Bright Surroundings
Sufficient brightness and high contrast are essential for displays in outdoor applications. The new 10.1" TFT LCD from YEEBO offers both, 2,200cd/m² - measured after the projected capacitive touch, paired with a contrast ratio of 1000:1 result in an outstandingly bright display that is easy to read in very bright surroundings.

The WXGA resolution of 1280*800 pixels and the viewing angle of typically 80°, which is the same in all directions, contribute to the good overall impression. 16.7M colours can be displayed via the LVDS interface. The operating temperature range is -20°C to +70°C, which is common in the industry.
The display is equipped with a projected capacitive touch. The touch positions are retrieved via an I²C interface. In the variant presented, the Ilitek ILI2511 is used as touch controller. The 1.1mm thick front glass is slightly larger than the display outline and printed with a black frame on the back. This makes it easier to mount the display unit from the front. If a thicker, vandalism-proof glass is required, a touch controller from EETI can be used that supports glasses up to approx. 6mm. Optionally, the glass can also be customised.
