ISABELLENHÜTTE has expanded its current portfolio in the Standard Busbar Shunt category with the introduction of the BAN series. This new series stands out due to its compact dimensions of 84x36x3mm (length/width/depth) and an extremely low resistance value of 25µOhm. The shunt is excellently suited for the precise monitoring of extremely high currents up to 1,200A and a nominal power of 36W.

Busbar Shunts von ISABELLENHÜTTE

This series finds ideal applications in the Battery Management System (BMS) for Electric Vehicles (EVs) and Plug-in Hybrid Vehicles (PHEVs), as well as for current measurement in industrial applications such as welding systems.

The BAN Shunt series is available in three versions. There is a version specifically optimised for temperature coefficient (TCR), making it well-suited for applications with high accuracy requirements. Furthermore, the new series is offered with the option of two or four mounting holes to ensure a secure screw connection on the busbar.

Samples can be ordered starting immediately, and the official production launch is scheduled for the second quarter of 2024.
