SAMPLESAS-Interface (ASi) is an industrial field network used in PLC (*1), DCS (*2) and PC-based automation systems. This is the simplest solution for the Industry 4.0 sector for the actuators and sensors that are connected to a higher-level industrial control network. (*1: Programmable Logic Controller / *2: Distributed Control System). KDS has supported the Renesas ASI4U-V5 development on the timing side, and now the KDS DSX321G 30MHz is approved as a reference design for this chipset.
