New 3.9” IPS TFT Display from YEEBO
Small is Beautiful
The new 3.9" TFT display is the first display from YEEBO's bar-type family. This means that displays can also be used in areas where those with standard diagonals are not suitable. Bar-type or also letterbox displays are, as the name suggests, usually long and narrow in size. Thus, the aspect ratio does not follow the usual 4:3 or the 16:9/16:10 formats commonly used for wide displays.
This means that they can also be used in applications that previously had to do without a display for reasons of space or for which there was nothing suitable from the point of view of the product designer.

The display has a resolution of 480x128 pixels. The active area is 95.0x25.3mm and the module dimensions are 105.5x38.8mm. Thus it also fits easily into a 19" rack with only one rack unit (1U = 1¾” or 44.45mm). The most outstanding feature is the viewing angle, which is 80° from any direction. This is achieved by the IPS technology, which allows the module to be mounted in a position selected independently of a given viewing direction. The brightness is also impressive with 550cd/m². All other parameters correspond to the usual values for industrial displays.
