Flexible Connection With Individual Bridging Lengths
The PANTA© SMD R Jumpers from SUMIDA are flexible board connections with individual bridging lengths between 20-40 mm. This jumper is a flexible solution for various assembly configurations on electronic PCB assemblies and allows a variety of possible applications e.g. automotive.
The SMD jumpers are economic alternatives compared to e.g. milled and rigid-flexible PCB’s and are higher in flexibility and resistance against breakage.
These components can be automatically placed with standard equipment and due to their high temperature resistance they can be reflow soldered. An additional assembly and soldering process is not necessary. The SMD connection can be bended up to 180° after the soldering process.
Featuring Highest Standards of Vibration and Bending Resistance
The copper conductors are rolled flat to a defined geometry in the insulation area ensuring the highest standards of vibration and bending resistance. This results in a reduction of bending stress in the connection area and movement of bending forces into the flexible area.
