High capacitance combined with increasing ripple current loads presents particular challenges for designers. The FVCH series from SUN ELECTRONIC INDUSTRIES is based on the high-capacitance FVC series and offers improved ripple current capability. This supports further miniaturization of electronic devices, for example in high-performance BLDC motors.

Which FVCH Option Fits Your Application?

The FVCH series combines the high capacitance density of the FVC series with higher ripple current capability. The maximum rated ripple current reaches 5.9Arms at 125°C/100kHz and 4Arms at 135°C/100kHz. FVCH capacitors are designed for an operating temperature range of -55°C to +135°C and offer a guaranteed lifetime of 4,000hours. The series currently covers rated voltages of 16V and 25V, with capacitance values of up to 1,800µF and 1,200µF, respectively.

If you require a different rated voltage, SUNCON offers additional options with the FVC and FVF series. Like the other series, FVCH is AEC-Q200 certified. Suitable sockets are also available for applications with increased vibration requirements.

Versatile Applications in Automotive and Industrial Systems

The compact design and high ripple current capability make the FVCH series well suited to applications where high power density and limited installation space are key requirements. Potential applications include high-performance BLDC motors for oil and water pumps as well as electric power steering systems in automotive applications. Other areas of use include industrial fans, robotics and automated guided vehicles (AGVs), as well as battery-powered power tools.
