Technologies

Rigid Press-Fit Technology

SOFTPRESS® technique allowed a solderless mounting of the BROXING power terminal and spacer on PCBs or busbars. This advanced technology ensures exceptionally low contact resistance. The components are available in a variety of standard configurations.

• Power terminals with external thread (bolt)
• Power terminals with internal thread (nut)
• Power terminals with 90° mounting (horizontal thread or hole)
• Spacer without thread (through hole spacer)
• Spacer with double press-fit zone

The power terminals are also available in a soldering version, by adding a locating ring, the drilling pattern matches that of the Press-Fit version. This makes it possible to switch between solder and Press-Fit versions at any time, without modifying the layout or drilling pattern.

Flexible Press-Fit Technology

This technology is characterized by the pin deforming inside the metallized hole, which retains its shape. The contacts can be easily installed in various housings, ensuring maximum adaptability for different designs and applications.

• Busbar technology up to 1000A. Busbars are offered in copper, brass, or aluminum, allowing tailored solutions to meet performance, durability, and design requirements.
• Powerboards, BROXING provides professional assembly of contact elements and busbars on PCBs, supporting both Press-Fit and soldering technologies for maximum flexibility and reliability.

All contact elements and busbars are treated with BroxAlloy®, a nickel- and lead-free alloy. Its high melting point ensures stability and prevents deterioration also during SMT reflow soldering.
