Connection and Processing Systems
STOCKO Contact GmbH & Co. KG was founded in 1901, and is among Europe’s leading providers of electromechanical components. This means that the company is working in a market which is characterized by huge pressure for innovation, high demands on the part of customers for quality, and frequent requirements for special solutions.
Particular focus of production is on connection systems with insulation displacement (IDC termination), crimp or soldered connections, solder-free connectors, crimp contacts, customer-specific special developments, and processing systems for all STOCKO products. The company’s products can be used in a vast range of applications. They are to be found equally in heating control systems, in automatic beverage dispensers, in dishwashers, in entertainment electronics, in telecommunications, or in automobiles.
But just as the application possibilities of STOCKO products are universal, the demands of the customers can be entirely individual. The development of the product therefore often already starts by way of co-operation between the company and the customer. As soon as it has been determined what a product should achieve, the material, surface characteristics, physical properties, and design are then selected jointly. When it comes to development and design, the company has the very latest computer-assisted systems available. The stereolithographic process, for example, enables developers to check the precision fitting of future products on the basis of prototypes, and pre-series models to be manufactured for test purposes.
Before being considered fit for the market, all STOCKO products undergo extensive loading tests in the company’s own laboratories, during which the mechanical and electrical properties are investigated under different environmental influences.
Another reason for the company’s success lies in the fact that almost all its machines, devices, and other aids come from in-house production. The tools required are always produced in accordance with the very latest state of the art and in accordance with the highest demands of quality assurance.
Quality and Certificates:
- ISO 9001
- ISO 14001
- ISO/TS 16949
- ISO 50001
STOCKO is committed to environmental protection in very many ways. For example, all plastics and metals which are processed in the company remain within the raw materials circuit. In addition, recyclable packing systems are used as a priority. Waste water is processed in a complex and elaborate process, and then conducted back into nature entirely free of any contamination.
