21.5” IPS TFT-Display With Excellent Contrast Ratio
To meet the requirements needed by the industry, AMPIRE has launched a 21.5" display with interesting features. This TFT display has a Full HD standard resolution of 1920x1080 pixels where 16.7 million colours can be displayed.
With a brightness of 1000cd/m², the display can also be used outdoors in daylight.DOWNLOAD DATASHEET

Outstanding for a TFT, however, is the contrast ratio of 5000:1. The deep black background produces a superior image. The excellent viewing angle of 89° from all directions is achieved with the help of the latest generation in IPS technology.
The supply voltage is 5V for the LCD and 12V for the LED backlight. The service life of the backlight is specified as a minimum of 50,000 hours. Of course, the brightness can be controlled via the existing backlight driver using a PWM signal.
The display can also be equipped with a projected capacitive touch. If desired, the front glass can be customised. From a quantity of 500 pieces, dimensions, printing and surface treatment can be selected individually. Optical bonding or a nano-lamination to reduce light reflections and thus improve the image quality in highly luminous environments is also possible.
The operating temperature range is specified as 0°C to +80°C, the storage temperature range as -20°C to +80°C. This means the display can also be used at high temperatures. The 2-channel LVDS interface does not really need to be mentioned separately.
