Flexible Topologies, Optimized Routing

The AX58101 integrates two Fast Ethernet PHYs and two MII interfaces, providing flexible support for EtherCAT topologies such as line, star, and tree. The integrated ESC Port 0/2 switching function enables optimized routing under mechanical or layout constraints, reducing PCB complexity and bill-of-material (BOM) costs.

Efficient Connection to External Microprocessors

At its core, the controller features 8KB RAM, 8 FMMUs, 8 Sync Managers, and 64-bit Distributed Clocks to ensure highly accurate synchronization and minimal latency. Thanks to its flexibly configurable PDI interface with Local Bus and SPI slave support, the AX58101 can be efficiently connected to external microprocessors and seamlessly integrated into existing systems.
