High-Performance Hybrid Computing with Linux, Real-Time Control and Edge AI
Powering the Smart Panel Q the UNO Q SBC combines the compute power and the flexibility of Linux running on the Qualcomm® Dragonwing™ QRB 2210 together with the real time sensing and control capabilities of the STM32 running the Zephyr RTOS. The Linux and Zephyr subsystems are interconnected via a bidirectional remote procedure call mechanism to enable full bidirectional communications.

How Can Developers Accelerate Rapid Prototyping with Open-Source Tools?
ARDUINO provides a dedicated license free and open-source development environment, the ARDUINO App Lab to encapsulate all of the capabilities of the QRB2210 SoC in an easy to use, easy to adapt, software solution. Sample applications for HMI, Camera and Edge AI are also provided to enable customers to quickly prototype their applications. The STM32 subsystem is programmed using the renowned ARDUINO IDE (2.0+) environment, sample applications are also provided for the STM32 to demonstrate the real time sensing and control capabilities of the UNO Q.

Rugged Industrial Design with Integrated Connectivity and Flexible Installation Options
The Smart Panel Q incorporates UNO Q SBC in a 7-inch and a 10-inch touchscreen display form factor that is hardened and ruggedized for industrial environments. It also extends the capabilities of the UNO Q with a multi-function industrial interface which incorporates CAN, RS485, RS232 and GPIO along with the supporting drivers for the UNO Q to enable designers to quickly connect the Smart Panel directly to their industrial machines. Smart Panel Q supports standard VESA mounts for easy installation on walls, in vending machines and the free-standing supports are also available for desktop uses. Smart Panel Q are CE and FCC certified HMI solutions.
