Electro mobility and other alternative technologies continue to grow globally very fast. A few years ago, our partner SONG CHUAN shifted their strategic focus to developing relays for green energy applications.
SONG CHUAN offers the new 207BX, a powerful low profile 1 pole relay with NO contact, a contact gap is ≥ 1,5mm and reinforced insulation.
Low profile means only 16x21,5mm space requirement on the PCB.
The 207BX relay is able to carry 35A at 277VAC. High short circuit capability Ip = 1.85kA/I2t=4,5kA2s at In≦32A and 500A (three operations) switching capability acc. IEC62955 makes the 207BX perfect for use in charger applications.
High Inrush capability of 230A according IEC 62752 makes it interesting not only for electric vehicle charging eqipment, but also for a variety of other applications where high switching capacity is required. The holding voltage of the coil can be reduced to 32~34% of the rated voltage of the coil to save energy. The relay is UL/CUL and VDE approved.
The new 207BX is RoHS compliant and is ideally suited for use in harsh environmental conditions due to its high temperature.

- Electric Vehicle Charger applications, e.g. Wallbox, Cordset
- Photovoltaic power generation systems (solar inverters)
