MagicShark™ - The Strongest Connector
MagicShark™ by BELLWETHER is designed for space-saving Wire-to-Board connections. Due to its robust construction with an enhanced locking mechanism it can be used in environments with strong vibrations. It is the perfect connector for pure power or data transmission and also available in hybrid versions.
The MagicShark™ series uses an angled slide-in design with two main and two secondary locking latches to prevent incomplete mating during assembly and unintentional disconnection during operation. The enhanced locking mechanism indicates the completed mating process with an audible click.

With Enhanced Locking Mechanism
A four-directional wrenching force greater than 3kg is required to separate the two connector halves. With the optional SMT fitting nails no additional holes in the PCB are required. A DIP version with even higher retention force is also available.
High-Current Capacity
Thanks to the dual-contact terminal design, the MagicShark™ connector can transmit up to 4.5A on a single power line in a limited space. To meet different requirements, the series is available in three types with 2 to 20 contacts:
- Hybrid version for power + signal
- Power only
- Signal only
Ultra Slim Low Profile Design
The MagicShark™ connector has a very low profile design with a mating height of only 2mm. The hybrid version uses a 1mm pitch for signal lines and a 1.5mm pitch for the power lines. Crimp contacts are available for wire cross sections from AWG#32 to AWG#24.
