Compared to previous generations with the standard 2x3 inch footprint, this results in approximately 50% space savings on the PCB, allowing for greater output power per unit area. Suitability for Medical Applications

The MDP65 series has been specifically designed for medical technology applications, offering a cost-effective solution that prioritizes safety and reliability. It meets the stringent requirements of IEC/EN 60601-1 and features 2xMOPP isolation, making it ideal for BF-type (body floating) medical applications. With its wide operating temperature range from -20°C to +70°C, the MDP65 series ensures reliable performance even under demanding conditions – such as in compact, enclosed diagnostic devices or portable homecare and monitoring systems, where heat dissipation is a particular challenge.
