Tested for Extreme Environmental Conditions

The KM32A series has successfully passed extensive automotive qualification tests, including a thermal shock test from −40°C to +125°C over 1,000 cycles and a combined vibration and environmental test from 10 to 1,000Hz at 3.1Grms. Thanks to its specially engineered contact structure, the connector ensures stable and reliable electrical performance even under driving vibrations.

Secure Design and Standards Compliance

Designed for AWG 20–22 cables, the 0.5-type connector is ideal for applications with limited installation space. The safety design with center lock prevents incomplete mating, mis-insertion and lock damage. Its special design limits lock movement range and prevents cable snaring and lock damage.

The connector design meets the requirements of the GMW3191 automotive standard for low-voltage connectors as well as the ADM-F-0006 vibration standard, ensuring long-term mechanical and electrical durability under real-world vehicle conditions.

Applications

Unique Contact Structure for Maximum Vibration Resistance

A single, precisely acting contact spring provides consistently high contact force. This results in excellent vibration resistance and a pull-out and leverage strength of up to 75N. CODICO has a very extensive portfolio of Board & Wire Connectors that enables the best possible solution to be made for every application.
