Flexible Operation - Three Significant Designs Save Your Time

• Design feature number 1: The Push-In Design
  The PID clamp design allows direct connection of solid or stranded wires with ferrules without tools.
• Design feature number 2: Press-to-Release Design
  With commercially available Push-In terminal blocks, a screwdriver or similar tool is usually required to release the wires. When using the new 0229 series from DINKLE this process takes place completely without tools thanks to innovative Press-to-Release pushers. All contact chambers can even be actuated simultaneously with a separately available ejection aid. Just imagine how much time you can save and how flexible the wiring can be.
• Design feature number 3: Numerous locking options
  Beside to the fast and secure wiring, the 0229 series also offers numerous locking options for vibration-proof connections. In addition to the widely used screw flange, further options are available with locking tabs and locking levers.  

Miniaturization with simultaneous increase in stability

• Flat contacts for increased current loads
  The widening of the contact area compared to round pins enables an increase in the maximum output current and makes the operating performance of your devices more stable.
• High-density layouts
  The double-row design of the 0229 series offers a space-saving connection in pitch size 5.08mm for a maximum of 40 contacts and gives you the opportunity to optimize the design of your device.
• Space saving of 65%
  When using conventional lever terminals, a height of about 8.6mm has to be reserved for the actuation in the switch cabinet. With the 0229 series Press-to-Release design, only 3mm is required, which means a space saving of about 65% in the control cabinet
