The PERSPEC (Parallel Recognition and Inspection System) camera solution from JMO, combined with the Edge Impulse (a Qualcomm Company) AI development environment, offers a complete 360° solution that seamlessly integrates industrial image processing with edge AI. The system is already successfully deployed by customers in intralogistics, EMS services, and various manufacturing inspection applications.

During development, the focus was placed on enabling edge AI to be integrated into existing production lines quickly, cost-effectively and in a scalable way. Qualcomm Dragonwing QCS6490 SoC
The system is based on the Qualcomm Dragonwing QCS6490 SoC, featuring:
- Integrated 64MP ISP for high-resolution image processing
- Dedicated NPU for real-time multimodal AI tasks with up to 12 TOPS
- Processing of up to five concurrent camera streams

With built-in support for the Qualcomm Edge Impulse platform, users have immediate access to a complete end to end AI development environment which offers:
- Data acquisition directly from on-site cameras
- Labelling, annotation, and data management
- Training, optimization, and deployment of custom models
