The XC9714 series offers a wide input voltage range from 4.5V to 36V. The output voltage can be flexibly adjusted between 2.5V and 15.0V. It supports a maximum output current of 2.0A while maintaining high efficiency and stable output voltage. The switching frequency is 800kHz and the operation mode can be selected between PWM control and PWM/PFM control with the MODE pin.
Flexible Configuration for Multiple Power Supply Lines
The same part number can be used for multiple power supply lines because the set value of the output voltage can be changed using an external resistor. It is possible to externally adjust the soft-start time longer than the internal soft-start using an external resistor and capacitor connected to EN/SS pin.
Integrated Protection Functions and Wide Temperature Range
To ensure high operational reliability, numerous protection features are integrated, including current limiting, output voltage monitoring, thermal shutdown, and Lx short-circuit protection. The specified operating temperature range extends from –40°C to +125°C, enabling use in demanding industrial environments. The IC is available in compact DFN3030-12A (3.0×3.0×0.75mm) and HSOP-8N (6.2×5.2×1.7mm) packages.
