YAMAICHI's M12 – Y-Circ M Connector

With Internal Push-Pull Locking
YAMAICHI is taking the next innovative step in the field of M12 connectors with the Push-Pull with inner locking. The cable connector engages into the device socket from the inside with locking hooks. As a result, the push-pull system requires exactly the same installation space as a standard M12 connection with screw locking.
Advantages of the Push-Pull Locking
With this technology, it is possible to integrate the M12 device socket completely recessed into the end device, e.g. the distributor box. The system is IP65/IP67 sealed and mechanically extremely robust, even under torsional stress, thanks to the particularly long locking hooks. This means that the user has all the advantages of push-pull locking: high time saving, miniaturization, blind and tool-free plugging with the simplest handling – and all this in accordance with the standardized M12 specifications. The system is currently in the process of international standardization to CDV IEC 61076-2-012, which, in contrast to many other quick locking systems, guarantees cross-manufacturer compatibility.
M12 Is Fully Backward Compatible
The wall-mount socket can still be mated with conventional M12 connectors with screw locking. Users are therefore not necessarily dependent on a special cable connector and remain flexible.
Different Codings Available
The system is already available in the coding A, B and D. X-coding for high data rates according to CAT 6A and L-coding for power transmission will follow shortly.
