KDS' High Accurate CMOS Crystal Oscillators

DSO211SX and DSB211SJA
Check out the new KDS CMOS crystal oscillators DSO211SX (accurate type) and DSB211SJA (very accurate type) as future automotive timing clock. They are capable of operating over a wide temperature range from -40°C to +125°C.
The demand of high accurate CMOS crystal oscillator (XO) is increasing in the market. In the past, automotive timing devices demanded robustness as first priority. XO was not the best solution because of the sensitive internal oscillation IC. However, PCB sizes became smaller and smaller, with car electronic nodes get closer and closer. Now automotive applications need small size, accurate and robust XO for advanced applications. KDS DSO211SX and DSB211SJA will sure fit to those demands.

DSO211SX has also a 2,5x2,0mm size lineup. Amazing thing is, KDS reached +/-50ppm in -40°C to +125°C range without temperature compensation like TCXO. This is due to “true” quartz crystal suppliers who produce synthetic quartz crystals with extremely high technology and experience.
DSB211SJA is using a temperature compensate IC. KDS reaches very low phase noise which other XO (crystal oscillator) suppliers or MEMS oscillators cannot reach.
Both items show the technology level of KDS. Also other automotive oscillators like differential output XO are part of KDS’s lineup.
