CODICO is excited to announce EATON’s new industrial- and automotive-grade chip inductor lines, MCL and MCLA. EATON’s multilayer MCL/MCLA are low profile, low dissipation inductors for high frequency filtering, impedance matching and RF tuned circuits. They come in several industry standard footprints and offer high Q and high current capability.

The chip inductors are available utilizing either magnetic or non-magnetic core material structures. The MCL/MCLA chip inductors are ideal for wireless RF modules such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth® and satellite applications. The MCLA series is AEC-Q200 Grade 3 qualified for superior mechanical and electrical performance in automotive applications.

A special highlight is the 0603 size, which comes in a wide inductance range. Based on different core material, the industrial grade series MCL splits into a low and high inductance version. MCL1608V1 uses magnetic material, which leads to the higher inductance values from 0.47 to 12uH. On the other hand, MCL1608V2 utilizes non-magnetic material and result in lower inductance values 1 to 470nH.
