The new Habanero from 8DEVICES is a SOM (System on Module) with 4 Cortex-A7 cores and numerous high-speed interfaces that allow a fast and cost-effective realization of IoT hubs, gateways, routers and access points.

Habanero is equipped with 4 Cortex-A7 @ 700MHz and offers 512 MB RAM (DDR3 @ 672 MHz), 32MB NOR Flash and a parallel interface to connect an external NAND flash memory device (up to 1GB tested).

Besides the high-speed interfaces 5 x 1000 Base-T, USB3.0/2.0, SDIO3.0 and others, Habanero also supports the WiFi standards 802.11 b/g/n/a/ac in DBDC (Dual Band Dual Concurrent) and in MU-MIMO 2x2 mode.
