NL9620 – Precision Measurement at Its Best

NL9620 series by NISSHINBO

NISSHINBO’s Instrumentation Amplifiers

NISSHINBO has introduced the NL9620 series, a new family of precision instrumentation amplifiers for industrial applications. The devices operate over a wide supply voltage range of ±2.3V to ±18V and are specifically designed for measurement instruments in industrial settings, where highly precise sensors for accurate monitoring are often required.

Capturing Small Differential Signals

In such applications, even the smallest differential signals must be reliably captured, making high-accuracy and high-stability instrumentation amplifiers essential. The NL9620 series has been designed for robust operation in harsh and environments with significant electrical noise. It achieves an excellent Common-Mode Rejection Ratio (CMRR ≥ 110dB, typical value 130dB at G = 100) and outstanding EMC performance.

Low Offset and Flexible Gain

With a very low input offset voltage (max. 125µV) and low offset voltage drift (max. 1µV/°C), the series enables highly accurate measurements. Its wide supply voltage range of ±2.3V to ±18V allows flexible integration into a variety of systems. Gain can be set from 1× up to 10,000× using a single external resistor, simplifying design, improving end-product accuracy, and reducing development effort.

Compact Package Options

The devices are available in the compact VSP-8-AF package (2.8×2.9×1.2mm); a second option, the EMP-8-AN package (3.9×5.0×1.65mm), is currently under development.

Application Suitability

Target applications include strain gauges, thermopiles, flow sensors, transducers, and weighing scales.

What Makes the NL9620 Series from NISSHINBO a Preferred Choice?

The NL9620 delivers exceptionally high common‑mode rejection (≥ 110 dB), outstanding EMC, a very low input offset voltage (≤ 125 µV), and minimal offset drift (≤ 1 µV/°C). Its gain can be set from 1× to 10 000× with a single external resistor, while its wide supply‑voltage range (±2.3V to ±18V) and compact VSP‑8‑AF / EMP‑8‑AN package options provide designers with flexibility, accuracy, and reduced development effort for instrumentation‑critical applications such as strain gauges, thermopiles, flow sensors, transducers, and weighing scales.
