MIPI DSI on 7.0” TFT-Display
Processors and System-On-Modules (SoM) with MIPI Display Serial Interface (DSI) for display control are becoming more common on the market today. YEEBO is responding to this trend by providing an industrial-grade 7.0" display with MIPI DSI.
7.0" has become a standard size in the display market. It is thus not surprising that users are requesting new features to simply the use of the display.

One of these features is the MIPI DSI, which is found in newer processors architectures and SoM’s (e.g. QUALCOMM, QUECTEL, THUNDERCOMM). MIPI DSI offers the advantage of not having to convert data to an otherwise common display interface.
YEEBO has therefore upgraded a 7.0" TFT with this interface and built in additional functionality. The display is connected via a single FPC, which is also used to interface with a capacitive touch screen, if present. The supply voltage is alternatively 1.8V or 3.3V and all auxiliary voltages are generated on the FPC.
The other parameters are almost self-evident: IPS technology for wide viewing angles that support use in landscape as well as portrait mode, a resolution of 1024x600 pixels, 16.7 million colours and a brightness of 680cd/m² are already standard.
The backlight life time of at least 30,000 hours and an operating temperature range of -20°C to +70°C favour industrial use.
From industrial over medical to commercial applications, there is a wide range of possible applications for this display.
