One Action FFC/FPC Connectors from HIROSE
Simple and Easy Assembly
HIROSE's One Action FH - 4 FFC/FPC series connect solely by inserting the FFC/FPC cable without touching the actuator. They are suitable for automated assembly processes and enable safe assembly even with limited space. The series differ from conventional FFC/FCP connectors by three functions.
1) Easy and Secure Cable Connection
The connection between the connector and the cable is established exclusively by inserting the cable. Therefore: Keep your fingers away from the locking lever! If the cable is in the correct position, the connector locks automatically - no manual closing of the locking lever is required.
2) Automatic Assembly
The opening of the One Action FFC/FPC connectors features a large taper on the opening, making it easier to slide the cable in. The unique spring design reduces the forces involved and improves the mating process, making assembly possible both manually and automatically.
3) Increased Design Flexibility
Conventional products are connected by opening the locking lever, inserting FPC/FFC, and then closing the actuator. Those steps require a certain amount of place around the connector. One Action FH™ series provides complete locking at the same time as the FPC/FFC insertion. This means that the FPC/FFC cable can be securely positioned even when space is limited. The design of the One Action connectors is rounded off by a locking mechanism with a tactile "click".
