QUALCOMM IPQ40xx: The New 802.11ac SoCs

The new 802.11ac SoCs IPQ4018/19/28/29 from QUALCOMM are based on a Quad-Core Cortex-A7 architecture (@ 710 MHz), whereas each core supports a Floating Point Unit and a NEON Data Engine. Two integrated Wi-Fi radios provide connectivity for Dual-Band and Dual Concurrency (DBDC) for 802.11ac (MU MIMO 2x2) and 802.11n (MIMO 2x2).
11ac provides a brutto data rates of 866,7 Mbps and 11n 300Mbps. In case of IPQ4019 and IPQ4029, the 11n radio can be configured also a second 11ac radio.
All parts support the new Wi-Fi SON (Self-Organizing Network) from QUALCOMM.
