RG255G – New 5G Redcap Module for Industrial Use
5G Redcap Sub-6GHz LGA Modules by QUECTEL
QUECTEL's RG255G is a series of 5G Redcap Sub-6GHz LGA modules that utilise 3GPP Rel-17 RedCap technology with URLLC/Slicing up to 256QAM DL/UL and LTE & NR-FR1 (20MHz), supporting peak data rates of 220Mbps in the downlink and 121Mbps in the uplink. The module finds applications in various industrial scenarios.

The application areas include smart grids, video networks, Internet of Vehicles (IoV), UAVs, POS machines and medium to low-speed Fixed Wireless Access (FWA).
Supported by LTE Cat 4 and 5G Sub-6 SA mode, the RG255G is backward compatible with Rel-15 and Rel-16 networks. It is available in two variants: RG255G-NA and RG255G-EU.
The module integrates GNSS with multiple constellations (GPS, GLONASS, BDS, and Galileo) and offers a variety of internet protocols, industry-standard interfaces (USB 2.0, PCIe 1.0, PCM, UART, SPI, etc.) and features such as USB drivers for Windows 8/8.1/10/11, Linux, and Android.
The RG255G is partially compatible with QUECTEL's 4G EG2x/EC2x series modules with smaller dimensions.
