NJU7890 Can Directly Detect 1000V With High Precision
New Japan Radio (NJR) has developed a high voltage monitor IC "NJU7890" that can detect DC 1000V voltage.
Small size and high performance have been required for inverters and batteries in eco-friendly cars such as hybrid cars and electric cars. Older solution required often a lot of space in front of the OpAmp.
The new IC NJU7890 offers high input resistance as a one-package solution and high precision. The voltage monitor block with NJU7890 improves the performance of eco-friendly cars and makes them smaller and lighter.

- High precision attenuation rate: ±1％
- High input resistance: 30MΩ min
- Operating voltage range: 2.2V to 5.5V
Typical applications include Power Control Units (PCU) and Inverter Control units. The IC is available in a PMAP11 package and works from -40° to 125°C.
