UTL from SOURIAU is a plastic push-pull connector designed to comply with all modern safety standards of industrial markets with blind mateable option. It is highly suitable to be qualified as IEC power connector on your equipment, making it easier and faster to pass certifications yourself.
Thanks to a high sealing performance (IP68/IP69K) and an extreme UV resistance with F1 material per UL746C, the UTL connectors can be used for outdoor industrial applications. Designed and qualified according to the UL1977 and IEC61984 standards, the UTL connector series offers a 5VA flammability rating, hot wire, and current breaking capacity to meet all standards of industrial equipment.
Guarantees an Easy Implementation
The UTL is compliant with RS485, DMX and DALI protocols which guarantee to you an easy implementation of the connector on your electrical architecture. Available with a large choice of shells and contact types, we propose a field installation solution through screw contact termination, which allows you to terminate your cable assembly in the field with only one screwdriver, offering a flexible and easy solution.

UTL Is Part of the Trim Trio Family
The UTL series belongs to the famous Trim Trio family which is based on a unique feature of contacts that can be used in several connector shapes and a wide range of contact layouts. This trio of contacts (machined, stamped & formed, high speed) is applicable in a wide range of connectors from plastic to metal shells, from bayonet to push-pull coupling mechanisms, from rectangular to circular connector shells.
Using the same contact technology and based on the same design with a 1/3 bayonet coupling, the UTS series (full plastic, waterproof IP68 connector), the UTG series (metal/plastic connector for heavy use) and UTO series (metal IP68 connector for intensive use) are interchangeable and intermeatable giving you the flexibility to switch from a series to another to address new requirements without an important impact on your equipment and or your production lines.
