Power Module With Ultra-Low Profile Package and High Integration
The MPM3650 power module from MPS with 17V and 6A offers an ultra-low profile package and high integration, saving up to 70% board space. It includes forced CCM and auto-PFM modes.
Working with a fixed frequency of 1200kHz and input voltages between 2.75V and 17V it delivers a continuous output current of 6A for output voltages between 0.8V and 1.8V and 5A above 1.8V. Constant-on-time control operation provides very fast transient response and easy loop design, as well as very tight output regulation.

Full protection features include SCP, OCP, UVP and thermal shutdown. The MPM3650 requires a minimal number of readily available, standard external components, and is available in a space-saving QFN-24 (4x6mm) package.
The MPM3650 is ideal for all applications with an input voltage in the 12V range, such as DIN rail devices and plug-in cards, as well as for battery-powered devices with increased power requirements.
