Waterproof Push-Pull Connectors From YAMAICHI
Based on the Y-Circ®-P Product Family
The new, IP68-compliant T-series is based on the technology of the Y-Circ®-P product family from YAMAICHI Electronics. It can be connected to existing circular push-pull connectors and offers many advantages focusing on the miniaturization in the developement.
With the optimised cable sealing, the installation of the new waterproof connector is more robust, faster and less risky. Compared with the commercially available connectors with up to three parts the sealing of the cable has been reduced to one single sealing collet. This simplifies the installation and minimizes the risk of damage to the sealing.
The new design of the T-series also includes an optimised locking system. Normally there are three or more ratchet hooks used to provide support during installation. YAMAICHI has reduced them to two pieces and extended them significantly. Due to this unique design higher mating cycles can be achieved.
Compact Housing and Interference-Free Transmission
The new jack is housed in the same reduced installation space as the compact version of the existing B-series, together with contact carrier and housing coding. Thanks to some special pin assignments for high-speed the T-series enables interference-free transmission of signals up to 10 Gbps.
All available versions of the T-series in size 09 can be found in the current datasheet. Other sizes are in preparation.
