RECOM's PCB-Mount AC/DC Modules
20W AC/DCs in 2x1" Format With OVC III
RECOM launches their all new RAC20E-K/277, a series of 20W, encapsulated, PCB-mount AC/DC modules. Although the series is economically designed, it is the same size as the existing 20W series at only 52.7x27.6mm. The RAC20E-K/277 comes however with a different pinning to be compatible to a wider range of industry standards.

The series also features full load operation over a very wide input voltage range of 85-305Vac. Single outputs of 5V, 12V or 24V are available, all at 80%+ efficiency. The no-load power consumption is well under 200mW to meet the latest ECO directives.
The RAC20E-K/277 stands out due to its OVC III rating to 2000m altitude (OVC II at 5000m) and wide operating temperature range of -40°C to +90°C with power derating. It is therefore the perfect companion for harsh applications such as auxiliary supplies in roadside EV chargers as well as in industry, test and measurement and household applications, including nominal 277Vac environments.
The isolation rating is also high at 4kVac and safety certificates include UL/IEC/EN 62368-1 and IEC/EN 61558-1/2-16. EN 55032 EMC ‘Class B’ limits are met without any additional external components.
Like any other RECOM AC/DC product, comprehensive protection is included against output over-voltage, over-current and short circuit. Using high reliability components and advanced design techniques, the product’s MTBF is 830,000 hours at 25°C according to MIL-HDBK-217F (GB), hence RECOM offers a standard warranty of 3 years.
